Itinerary private day trip from Fès to Meknes, Volubilis and Moulay Idriss

In this day tour you will explore many of the beautiful places around the cities of Fès and Meknes. We start our day from Fes and we drive to explore Meknes, the ancient imperial city. This is city is known as the  Versaille of Morocco. The medina and fortified Kasbah are part of a UNESCO world heritage. We explore the monumental gates when we pass the city  and see landmarks as Bab Mansourmthe Sad mosque, Jarden Lahboul and Golf royal. Here we have lunch and you can enjoy the local food.

After this we drive to the Roman ruins of Volubilis. This partly excavated Berber and Roman city is on UNESCO World Heritage Site. Where we will visit the partially-reconstructed ruins, the Arch of Caracalla, triumphal gate, the Capitoline Temple and the Basilica ta Volubilis. 

On our way back to Fès we will stop in the holy city of Moulay Idriss and is a historic mosque and its famous place. After that we will bring you back to your hotel/Riad in Fès.
